As I’m sure everyone is aware, Microsoft recently released .NET 3.5 alongside Visual Studio 2008. Contained within these bits is ASP.NET AJAX Framework. It used to be a separate download, but now it comes prepackaged.
This is old news by now. What’s new is that while we were all digesting the new 3.5 bits, Microsoft released a preview of some new capabilities with the ASP.NET 3.5 Extensions Preview release. There are lots of things included in the release, but since I’m working on an ASP.NET AJAX book I’m really only interested in the stuff that the AJAX Framework.
I’m just starting to sift through it, but thought that I post some initial links. I’ll follow up with some comments regarding how individual features are implemented
